The Artisan, The Leather Goods & The Shop
In the heart of Barcelona I carefully craft hand made products for special people that want to stand out. Only a handful of items produced every year for the fortunate few that get to own an 'af'.
Bracelets, belts, bags, wallets and footwear – all carefully produced in my workshop from start to finish. Authentic hand made leather accessories, created using traditional techniques, dating back hundreds of years, united with modern design.
My boutique atelier was born on the shores of the Mediterranean after coming to the conclusion that I needed my own space to create and sell my handcrafted goods.
The space is designed to open the world of the artisan to the public exposing the leather-craft cosmos with all its complexities and charm. A place to meet, talk and have coffee and even the odd drink.
The belief that it is possible to face off multinationals and make locally a first class product with almost entirely regionally produced materials, hand crafted and constructed to last the tests of time is not a dream.
A passion for design perfection, functionality and robustness is rolled together in search of quality and elegance. At Alexis Fasoli things are made to last. It is the only coherent way as a small producer to be a sustainable, responsible manufacturer of leather goods.

Custom made is born out of a contradiction. It concerns finding what you have been looking for, but have not yet found. There are many reasons as to why you might not be able to obtain what you seek, yet there is a solution to the dilema.
This is known as custom, bespoke or made to measure. These concepts are slightly different, but it all boils down to this. What you need is a craftsman with the ability to turn your dream into reality. That is what real bespoke or custom manufacturing is all about, simply turning dreams into reality.

The better you communicate to your craftsman the easier the project will flow towards fulfilling your dreams and if all goes well, exceed your expectations.

Before work can start a payment of half the cost will be made, the other half on completion of the project before shipping or on collection in my atelier here in Barcelona.
